Invitation for bids (IFB)

The Office of the Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, Assam invites bid for the works under NRHM as detailed below on turn key basis and on two bids system.

1. Eligibility Criteria:

(a)    Registered APWD (Bldg) Class -I (A), I (B) & I (C) / CPWD / Reputed Construction Company / Agency registered under Govt. / Public Sector undertaking.

(b)   Contractors having completed works in any one year during last five years 90% of contract value & atleast one similar nature of completed work value not less than 30% of the proposed project cost.

(c)    In case the evaluated Bid Amounts are equal, preference for allotment of the project will be given to the bidder who has completed Hospital related Building works on earlier occasion.

(d)   The contractor who was earlier allotted any NRHM works by PWD (B), Assam and could not complete the work in all respect in time will not be eligible to participate in the bidding process.

2. Cost of tender document should be drawn in favour of State Health Society, Assam, payable at Guwahati in the form of pay order / demand draft.
3. Bid Security with a validity of 225 (i.e. 180+45) days should be in the form of Bank Guarantee / FDR / CDR and drawn in favour of the State Health Society, Assam, Payable at Guwahati.
4. Pre – bid meeting date and time: 25-04-2012 at 16.00 hrs.
5. Date for issuing of Bid Document 24-04-2012 to 25-04-2012 during working hours.
6. last date and time of submission of Bid: 30-04-2012 at 14-00 hrs

The bids will be opened at 15.30 hrs of the same days as mentioned above. In case, if any Bandh / Holiday fall in any sequence, the sequence will be held in the next working day. Interested Bidder may contact the Office of the Mission Director for any details of the project / Bid during working hours.
